The medical device industry is heavily regulated by standards that help keep people safe and healthy. Remaining compliant with regulatory agencies such as the FDA and European Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC (MDD) is crucial for all companies.
Participants who complete the program will be prepared for an entry-level position in this industry. Those participants who currently work in the medical device industry will update their knowledge regarding the constantly changing regulations.
The program can be completed in as little as 24 weeks. All courses are offered in the evening.

According to the Center of Excellence the medical device industry is scheduled to continue growing and creating new jobs within the next few years due to an aging population and advances in technology.

Program Costs
This program is tuition free at the School of Continuing Education (SCE). Students are responsible for the cost for parking.

SCE offers a full range of student services at the Anaheim campus. With vocational counselors readily available, students are recommended to make appointments for program advisement, academic support, and career counseling.
