This program prepares participants for an entry-level position as a quality assurance specialist. The program includes regulatory and quality standards that are required for the medical device industry. Instruction includes an introduction to Quality System Regulations, evaluating the quality system related to FDA regulatory requirements, creating robust reports and procedures for use in a medical device company, and identifying effective quality assurance audit strategies.

According to the Center of Excellence the medical device industry is scheduled to continue growing and creating new jobs within the next few years due to an aging population and advances in technology.

Program Costs

The Quality Assurance Management Certificate program is tuition free. Students are responsible for the cost for parking and textbooks.
